TWO Israeli Film Series!

La Cinémathèque Film Club, in conjunction with SOPAC and JCC Metro West, presents: 

The Israeli Film Series

A new nation with a budding cinema, Israel has earned its place in the world of artistic film.  This autumn, we will be running two concurrent series on Israeli cinema - one at the SOPAC and one at the JCC Metro West.  Between the two venues, we will screen ten films that explore such human themes as childhood, love, war, religion, and more.  The two series will complement each other and give members an incredibly deep knowledge and understanding of Israeli cinema and culture.

Five films will screen at the SOPAC from September 2016 through January 2017.  Five more films will screen at the JCC from September through November 2016.
