The third film in our series focusing on renowned Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, La Cinémathèque presents Scenes from a Marriage (1973).

Scenes from a Marriage chronicles the many years of love and turmoil that bind Marianne and Johan through matrimony, infidelity, divorce, and subsequent partners.

Film Introductions and post-screening discussion will be led by educator, artist, and filmmaker Gerard Amsellem.
