That is why we are excited to bring you Visionaries: two virtual series taking place over Zoom that will raise funds for New Wave Productions so that we can continue our on-ground programming in 2021!

A two-part series on visionary painters Claude Monet and Jackson Pollock.

Join us to celebrate the exhibition of Gerard Amsellem’s latest works of art, Memory / Mezuzoth, dedicated to the memory of Bella Brodsky.
The works will be on display at Riker Hill Art Park, Building 509, in Livingston, from April 11 to April 26.
The opening reception will take place on April 11 from 5 to 8PM. There will be a live painting experience by the Visual Passion Duo and live music by Rudy Walker and Ozzie Simmonds.

“LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Arts Council of Livingston (ACL) Gallery is hosting the 35th Anniversary of Riker Hill Art Park celebration and will present its new art show.
Artists in residence at Riker Hill Art Park work in a variety of fine art disciplines including mixed media, jewelry, blown glass, painting, sculpture, pottery, printmaking and photography. More than 20 artists will be exhibiting their artwork.
The show opens Friday, Oct. 13, with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at the ACL Gallery, 2310 Towne Center Way (enter on Carillon Circle). The public is invited to join the ACL at the opening to meet the artists, view their works and enjoy refreshments. All artworks are for sale.

Riker Hill Art Park artist Gerard Amsellem presents Frère. The show honors the memory of Gerard's brother Alain Amsellem, also an artist, on the 10th anniversary of his passing.

Gerard will be in the studio between noon and five on Saturday, November 5. If you are interested in being interviewed for his ongoing documentary project, The Eternal Question, during that time, please drop in or email ahead to schedule an appointment. Please note: Gerard will only be available on Sunday if you schedule an appointment in advance.
Visual Passion Duo Live Painting
Visual Passion has taken the solitary art form of painting and made it collaborative by working as partners. Now they bring the communal element a step further: painting live for an audience! The duo will be painting "The Passing 2" live at 1978 Maplewood Arts Center in conjunction with the exhibition "Off the Shelf: A Tribute to June Cater".
Visual Passion Gallery Reception
Selected artwork from the Visual Passion duo will be on display at the Maplewood Memorial Library from July 3 through the end of August. Drop in any time to see paintings and collages created through this partnership over the last six years.
A reception to open this exhibition will take place at the library on Wednesday, July 6, at 7pm. Meet the artists, Gerard Amsellem and Mikel Frank, and hear some commentary about the pieces on display.
The Eternal Question Interview Taping
Gerard Amsellem and New Waves Productions will be taping interviews for his long-anticipated documentary, The Eternal Question this year at South Orange's arts extravaganza, SouthNext!
On June 18, 2016, we will be stationed at South Mountain Yoga and we will be interviewing anyone who has something to say about love and life.
